Roof falls in on Gaming Board

PLANS to relocate the Gaming Board to their new offices on Collins Avenue had to accelerated yesterday after workers discovered that the ceiling and floor of one section of the current building collapsed overnight.

According to Gaming Board Chairman Dr Andre Rollins, the collapse at the current office on West Bay Street occurred sometime on Tuesday night when the building was unoccupied.

While the chairman was unable to provide a precise time as to when staff would be relocated to the new offices at Centreville House, he did say the completion date had been “accelerated due to the conditions of the current building”.
