THIRTY undocumented Haitian immigrants have been brought to the capital after being apprehended by the Defence Force six nautical miles west of Compass Cay in the Exumas.
They were aboard a 30ft Haitian sloop when they were intercepted by a patrol boat at around 10am on Sunday.
After boarding and investigating the craft, Defence Force officials discovered 24 men, one woman and five children aboard the wooden ship.
The Haitian nationals appear to be in good health and were transported to Coral Harbour Base for further processing, Immigration officials said.
