POLICE have made no arrests in connection with the discovery of a badly decomposed body of a man wearing an electronic monitoring ankle bracelet earlier this week.
Last night, investigators said they were waiting on DNA results before formally identifying the body.
However, ICS Security Concepts CEO Stephen Greenslade yesterday said the man was Anthony Fox Rolle.
Mr Rolle, who is believed to be in his 30s and a resident of Kennedy Subdivision, was found in bushes off an isolated track road on the north-side of the South Beach canal on Monday.
According to police, two fired gun cartridges were found near the body.
Mr Rolle’s discovery has sparked debate over the electronic monitoring system after police estimated the victim had been dead for at least a week.
Anyone with information that could help police is asked to call 911, 919 or the Central Police Station on 322-4775 or 322-4124.
