A 30-year-old man became the country’s latest murder victim when he was gunned down outside a night club Monday night.
It happened around 8:30pm at Ida Street north.
Police say the victim was attending a party when he got into an argument with two other men. One of the men pulled out a firearm and shot him in the chest.
Both men fled the area on foot in an unknown direction.
The victim was taken to hospital where he died of his injuries around 6am Tuesday. Police have not released his identity, but The Tribune understands he is Remo Fox.

Meanwhile, police say they still have no leads into the death of a Yellow Elder man that happened on Sunday.
According to reports, the victim was at Lightbourne Avenue off Seymour Street around 1:30am when he was shot multiple times by the occupants of a rented white coloured four-door sedan.
Several vehicles were also damaged during the shooting.
Investigations are continuing.
In other crime news, a man is fighting for his life in hospital after being stabbed multiple times Monday night.
It happened around 10:25pm at a bar in Gambier Village.
Police say the 34-year-old Tropical Gardens resident was discovered near a business establishment with multiple stab wounds in his body.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance where he is listed in serious condition. Police are actively investigating. They are appealing to anyone who might have information that can assist them with their investigations to contact them anonymously.
