WITH TWO girls, two groups, one boy and one over 25 contestant left in the competition, the X Factor USA Show is getting more intense as it quickly comes to a close.
During the Thanksgiving special last week Thursday Kelly Rowland’s “Over 25” contestant Lillie McCloud and Paulina Rubio’s “Boy” category contestant Josh Levi were sent home.

It was a big shocker for both contestants as Lillie was a fan favourite and Josh was previously eliminated and invited back onto the show as a “wildcard pick.”

Kelly Rowland, Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell overruled Paulina Rubio’s decision to send home Josh Levi, and moved him on to compete with the Top 12. For the second time, Josh’s X Factor USA journey came to an end.

Lillie was sent home immediately after receiving the lowest number of votes from America, followed by Josh.

“I was definitely surprised that I had the least number of votes out of everyone. I’m disappointed obviously but I am so thankful to have made it this far. I’m not leaving with any regrets. There are little things that I could have done but I gave it my all and showed myself on that stage every week and it’s what people think, and I gave everything,” Josh told international reporters.

He asked his supporters to not give up on him, as he promised not to let them down after his exit.

“Music coming soon; everything and we are never stopping ever. I love you guys, trust God and keep your faith in God,” he said.

Offering words of encouragement to her supporters, Lillie said: “I am really happy. I mean I didn’t want to leave because there is so much I wanted to show but this has been a major ride for me and I am good, God knows what he is doing.”

The show continues tonight on FOX Network at 8 pm as the top 6 - Rion Paige, Ellona Santiago, Alex & Sierria, Carlito Olivero, Jeff Gutt and Restless Road - take on two songs each; a song of their choice and a “diva artist” song, for America’s votes. Another act will be sent home during elimination tomorrow night.
