The Children of The Bahamas Photography Exhibition

The Children of the Bahamas exhibition by Bahamian photographer Roland Rose looks at history of the country in the faces of the youngest amongst us. The exhibition recently opened at the Central Bank of the Bahamas Art Gallery. The Children of the Bahamas is opened between Monday-Friday from 9am to 5pm.

History of Junkanoo Exhibition

The D’Aguilar Art Foundation (DAF) is inviting the general public to view their new exhibition, The History of Junkanoo, at the D’Aguilar Art Foundation on Virginia Street. The exhibition is open from 10am - 4pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, or by appointment at a convenient date.

Bahamian artist Antonius Roberts invites the gallery’s patrons and art enthusiast to celebrate Christmas with him at Hillside House during Coffee Hour on Christmas Eve on December 24 at 10am. Join Mr Roberts for a chance to win an original piece of Bahamian artwork.


Black Out IX:When Darkness Falls

Black Out IX is one of the biggest parties to commence the year and will be held on Christmas Eve. This year’s Black Out IX is being host K O Productions and will feature tons of giveaways, and prizes. The event will be held at Luna Nightclub. Doors open at 9pm.

Daisy, The Valley and the Shadow of Death

Dynamite Daisy will host a full length comedy show “Daisy the valley and the shadow of death” on Boxing Day. The event will be held at the Rainforest Theater at 3pm and 8pm.

Soca Fest

Spintech Promotions will end the year on a high note with the Soca Fest concert featuring Destra “The Queen of Bacchanal”. The concert will be held at the Botanical Gardens beginning at 8pm. Show starts at 10pm.
The event will be hosted by the Mighty Pencil.
