Web shop gives away $1m in prizes

THE holidays will be better than ever for many Island Luck customers, as the web shop gave away more than $1m in prizes at its annual Christmas party Saturday night.

At the event, which took place in several islands throughout the archipelago, appliances and electronics were presented to lucky winners, in addition to several cash prizes of between $20,000 and $100,000.

In Nassau, the event was held at 601 nightclub, which featured a “cash cage” where contestants were allowed to keep as many bills as they could grab, the money being propelled around an enclosure by air jets.

Everything, including food and drink, was free for ticket holders courtesy of Island Luck principals Sebastian Bastian and Adrian Fox.

The party came just days after Mr Fox and web shop staff held a block party and gift give-away for the children of the Kemp Road Community.

Another annual effort, Mr Fox said the children’s party is an effort to give back to what has become a somewhat forgotten community.

At the event, Mr Fox asked all persons with an Island Luck card to step forward and they were all given $50 towards their Christmas expenses for being loyal customers.

Gee, if only Knowles had not been extradited, the neighborhood kids could have gotten bicycles and school books as well... Were any politicians in line to receive their share of the hush money?
