A MAN was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison without bail yesterday after being arraigned in Magistrate’s Court on an attempted murder charge.
Dennis Longley, 24, of Carmichael Road, appeared before Chief Magistrate Roger Gomez in Court 1.
He was not required to enter a plea.
It is claimed that on Boxing Day, he attempted to cause the death of Zoey Johnson.
Longley was told that his case would be fast-tracked to the Supreme Court for trial through a Voluntary Bill of Indictment, scheduled to be presented on May 9.
The accused was remanded to prison until the completion of the trial.
