THE first Bahamian Icon awards were deemed a success by organisers and attendees who attended the black tie event on Saturday evening.
The vision of Sidda Communications’ CEO Addis Huyler, the event sought to acknowledge the achievements of men and women who have excelled in ten different areas.
The Bahamian Icon Winners for 2013 are Humanitarianism, Darcy Moss; Education, Joseph Rolle; Journalism, Anthony Newbold; Entrepreneurship, Philip Lightbourne; Tourism, Robert Sands; Finance, Wendy Warren; Commerce, Atario Mitchell; Sports, Ozzie Moore; Fine Arts, Dorothy Miller; Entertainment, Dillon D Mac McKenzie.
