COACHES’ CLINIC

THE International Coaches Clinic (ICC) hosted by the Bahamas Basketball Federation is scheduled to be held August 1-4 at the Atlantis resort on Paradise Island. There will be three days of working with NBA and Nike Elite coaches.

The ICC has become a training camp for coaches interested in building championship teams.

Panel speakers will include NBA Hall of Famer and assistant coach for the Sacramento Kings Alex English, Nike Elite coach Vivian Stringer, former coach of NBA All-Star and Olympian Carmelo Anthony, Mike Daniel and former Alabama coach Ronnie Arrow.

The mission of the ICC is to teach and develop coaches and their personnel a variety of techniques and fundamental skills that are important to team success. Emphasis is placed on basic skills development and basketball IQ.

“We will be teaching defensive and offensive principals while working on individual skills,” said NBA legend Alex English.

Lastly, for prospective sponsors, the ICC offers unique ways to reach their target audience. Sponsors will get to personally market their product and/or service at the event, putting them in direct contact with buyers for three consecutive days.
