PRIME Minister Perry Christie confirmed yesterday that Dr Bernard Nottage is back in Nassau and resting at home.
Dr Nottage took a leave of absence to fly to Florida last week for a medical examination.
He was examined at the Cleveland Clinic after a recent illness that is said to be not life threatening. He was joined by his wife, Portia, and his police aide.
In his absence, the Prime Minister assumed the responsibilities of the National Security portfolio.
However, Mr Christie said Dr Nottage will be back to work “very soon”.
