The Art of Giving, one of Freeport’s leading boutique gift shops, has moved to a new downtown location at No. 9 Seventeen Plaza.
“We’re excited about our new location. We feel that Seventeen Plaza is the ideal place to be,” said store manager Michele Coburn.
“Now that we are strategically located in the heart of downtown, amidst stores, banks, offices and hospital, we’re able to offer our services to a variety of customers who found it inconvenient to visit us at our previous International Bazaar location.”
Located immediately across from the Post Office, The Art of Giving is a licensed vendor of Starbucks coffees, teas and iced blended drinksm and carries a line of gifts and fashionable dcor for the home.
“We want to service not only the downtown area, but Grand Bahama as a whole. By combining an internationally-recognised brand, Starbucks, with a collection of designer specified gifts, books and home goods, The Art of Giving offers a unique experience to the island of Grand Bahama,” Ms Coburn added.
The Art of Giving has seven employees. A visit to the store still provides an opportunity to view an exclusive collection of historical photographs. This private collection documents the development of Grand Bahama, beginning with the Abaco Lumber Company and Pine Ridge through to the establishment of Freeport and into the 1960s.
“We wish to give a special thank you to everyone who has supported The Art of Giving through our relocation, and look forward to providing superior service and distinctive wares throughout the coming years,” said Ms Coburn.
