FOUR Grand Bahama juveniles have been arraigned in connection with an alleged assault on a police officer at the Jack Hayward High School last week.
One boy and three girls appeared in Magistrate’s Court 3 on Wednesday, according to police reports. An 18-year-old boy also faced charges.
The male juvenile and the 18-year-old youth were both charged with obstruction, while the three girls were charged with assaulting a police officer, disorderly behaviour, obscene language, resisting arrest and causing damage. The event occurred at the school on June 6.
The minors, who all pleaded not guilty, were released on $1,000 bail and told to report back to the Juvenile Panel in Freeport on June 28 for trial.
The 18-year-old was also released on $1,000 bail and told to return to Court 3 for trial on November 12.
