A MAN was arraigned in Magistrates Court yesterday in connection with a drug bust at the Lynden Pindling International Airport.
Calvin Edgecombe, 26, of Murphy Town, Abaco faced a charge of possession of dangerous drugs with intent to supply, which he denied and pleaded not guilty to.
It is claimed that on June 11, 2013 he was in possession of four and a half pounds of marijuana.
On the day in question, police arrested a man in the domestic section of LPIA after marijuana was discovered in a bag.
The drugs have an estimated street value of $4,500.
His trial, before Deputy Chief Magistrate Carolita Bethell, will commence on January 13, 2014. He was remanded to prison.
