ON Monday, the Royal Bahamas Police Force will launch its annual Summer Youth Programme under the theme ‘Celebrating our heritage as we engage our youth for a safer Bahamas’.
Inspector Chrislynn Skippings said the opening ceremony will be at Evangelistic Temple on Collins Avenue.
The programme will run for six weeks, concluding on August 9, 2013, with a grand concert at the National Centre for the Performing Arts.
Parents interested in enrolling their children in the programme can go into any police station and pick up an application form. The camp is being held for children ages 8 to 17.
