POLICE in the capital arrested three men in connection with two separate drug finds.
In the first incident, a 46-year-old man believed to be a Jamaican national was arrested after eight ounces of cocaine were discovered.
Officers of the Northeastern Division arrested the man at George Street around 4.30am on Saturday.
The drugs have an estimated street value of $2,080.
In the second incident, two men ages 33 and 31, are in police custody after the discovery of an estimated six ounces of marijuana.
In Mayaguana, two men, ages 29 and 19, are in police custody after the confiscation of a quantity of marijuana.
Officers detained the men for questioning after the drugs were found in a truck on the Queen’s Highway just after 11am on Saturday.
The drugs have an estimated street value of $480.
