Scotiabank invitational to return after succesful debut

A day of gorgeous weather at the picturesque Ocean Club Golf Course set the perfect scene for the first Scotiabank Golf Invitational.

A delicate balance of camaraderie and rivalry made the tournament a fun-filled experience in which golfers teamed up for a four-man scramble format, teeing off at noon.

The bank’s client appreciation event was very well received as golfers eagerly gathered at the fairways of the Paradise Island golf course.

The golf was followed by a cocktail reception and award presentations.

Trophies and prizes were awarded to first, second and third place teams, closest to the pin winners and longest and straightest drivers.

Many golfers walked away winners with special fun awards also being presented to the most honest team and best dressed golfer.

Scotiabank was well represented with more than ten golfers participating in the tournament.

Leading the charge was corporate and commercial vice-president Jim Wilson who was joined by other senior members of the commercial and retail banking teams.

Wilson said, “This event was a great opportunity to show appreciation to our customers, build relationships while enjoying a great afternoon of golf. We look forward to hosting next year’s invitational.”
