Good Friday service at Calvary Deliverance

It has been more than 2,000 years since the Jesus came to earth to show his love and to redeem mankind.

“As recorded in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John in the holy bible, Jesus Christ was mocked, scorned, and tortured in the praetorian. He carried his cross up the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem to Calvary, was nailed to the cross and hung between two common criminals, and suffered an indescribable end, recalled by the church on Good Friday of Holy Week”.

The Easter season serves for Christians around the world as a memorial of the sufferings and sacrifice of our now risen saviour. It is during this season many believers renew their faith and countless sinners find their way. It is during this season the body of believers is strengthened in their faith as they retell the stories of Jesus the Christ and recall the last precious moments of Jesus before he surrendered his life for our salvation.

The Calvary Deliverance Church family embraces this unique time in the Christian faith, and extends a blessed Easter.

“We memorialized the seven last words spoken from the blood stained cross on Calvary. Presentations will be delivered by our anointed vessels during our Good Friday service,” said a church representative.

“We celebrate for he is alive again, the stone has been rolled away, he is alive again, he is no longer where he lay. Let all the world rejoice he is alive.”
