IN A recent mid-week service, women at the Macedonia Baptist Church celebrated their anniversary with a creative show, portraying women in the bible.
Samantha Cartwright, a member of the Macedonia Baptist Women’s Ministry, said: “There were eight women in the ministry that depicted women in the bible. Women such as Mary, mother of Jesus, Mary Magdalene, the woman at the well, the woman with the issue of blood and Queen Ester, just to name a few.”

Ms Cartwright said they decided to portray these women because it tied in with their theme “Power Filled Women of The Bible.”
“We realised that in the bible there were women who were power filled for the work of God. All the women we talked about were on assignments for God,” said Ms Cartwright.
She said after the show, members and guests asked the ministry to host the service again.

“There were many churches around Nassau that attended, so we had quite a few people there. In the very near future we are going to re-do this actual experience,” said Ms Cartwright.
