FOUR Defence Force officers and two other men were arrested yesterday after one of the officers was found to be in possession of $50,000 worth of suspected cocaine at Grand Bahama International Airport.
Police reports say, that acting on information, officers of the Drug Enforcement Unit went to the Freeport airport around 11am. There, they conducted a search of a Defence Force officer who was getting onto an aircraft. The officer was arrested after two dark, taped packages were discovered in a black knapsack he was carrying. Three other Defence Force officers were taken into custody for questioning in connection with the find; two other men were also arrested at the airport in relation to the incident, police say.
The suspected drugs weighed five pounds and have a street value of $50,000, according to police. Active investigations continue.

the police and defence force are not some subset of Bahamians or imported from elsewhere ,,they are us ,picked from us ,,we as a country are becomeing moraless and rudderless ,,,,we all talk about God and christian nation but a good number of us would sell our soul for a couple of dollars,,
