POLICE confiscated 25 pounds of suspected marijuana with an estimated street value of $25,000 in three separate incidents this weekend.
The first took place after police conducted a search of an abandoned building at Wrights Lane sometime after 5.30pm Friday.
Police arrested a 29-year-old man after he was found in possession of 21lbs of suspected marijuana and an undisclosed quantity of suspected cocaine.
The second incident took place less than two hours later at a residence off Bernard Road, according to police, who arrested three men aged, 53, 27 and 20.
The men were found in possession of two pounds of suspected marijuana and cash believed to be proceeds from the sale of drugs.
On Saturday, police made a third drug arrest after two men were found in possession of two pounds of suspected marijuana with an estimated street value of $2,000.
The men were arrested after officers on routine patrol searched a gold Honda Accord on Bamboo Boulevard shortly after 11am.
