FREEPORT - Two men, including a Defence Force officer, were arraigned in Freeport magistrates’ court in connection with a drug bust at Grand Bahama International Airport.
Defence Force officer Brian Andrew Young was charged with possession of dangerous drugs with intent to supply.
It is alleged that he was in possession of suspected cocaine and attempted to board a flight at Grand Bahama International Airport. Young pleaded not guilty.
Marvin Poitier was charged with conspiracy to possess dangerous drugs with intent to supply. He also pleaded not guilty.
Young and Poitier were remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison until October 10.
