BOXING
CHAMPION SHOW
AFTER calling off its show that was to have returned to the Fish Fry at Arawak Cay, Champion Amateur Boxing Club will present “Saturday Night Live Boxing” at the Wulff Road Boxing Square 6pm Saturday November 9.
The main attraction will be between Keiron Knowles and Javano Collins. Five other matches are also scheduled. All amateur boxers and boxing clubs are invited participate.
BAISS SOFTBALL
AFTER six weeks of regular season play it has now come down to the top four schools in each division to move on to the knockout playoff round. The junior divisions will start each evening session at 4pm and then the senior teams will play after at Freedom Farm Baseball Park. The playoffs and championship dates are as follows:

RESULTS
TOP player in Financial Bowling League competition last week at Mario’s Bowling and Entertainment Center was Bud Cambridge of Forsythe Communications who toppled the pins for a 233 high game and 635 high three game set.
Cambridge was followed by Alfred Burrows of BTC Night hawks with a 568 second high set. Corey Bruney of Deloitte & Touche earned the second high game honours with a 217 game.
The ladies were led by a 178 second high game and a 494 high three game set from Xynea Johnson of Fidelity Bulldogs. Petrina Cartwright of Sunshine Insurance earned the ladies runner-up MVP award with a 183 high game and a 446 second set.
BASEBALL
JBLN REGISTRATION
THE Junior Baseball League of Nassau completed its registration and draft process for the 2014 season. The season is slated to begin on January 18 as the JBLN celebrates 25 years as the premier youth baseball and softball organisation in the Bahamas.
The 2014 season will feature a record number of 475 boys and girls and 39 teams playing organised baseball and softball. Visit their new website www.jblnbaseball.com for further details.
