The International Business Money Women Success Conference (IBMWSC) to be held on Saturday will empower women to create, manage and protect wealth.
The conference will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort on November 9.
The conference is being hosted by Melisa A. Hall, women’s empowerment guru and wealth coach. She intends to inspire women with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their careers by making themselves more marketable; become more creative by developing their talents and increased business skills; how to manage and protect their wealth and untie with other women to network and build a better Bahamian business community.
“It is important that we empower women to take control of their own destinies and not rely on the government, their jobs or a man to dictate their wealth. With unemployment on the rise we believe that a part of the solution is to encourage persons to tap into their God given ideas, gifts, talents and abilities and take action to create opportunities for wealth.
This year we have decided to make a contribution to the Bahamas Crisis Center donating part proceeds from this event to assist with the development of their new location,” Mrs Hall said.
Apart from international guest Dr. Stacia Pierce, award-winning life coach, motivational speaker and entrepreneur, there will be a discussion with panellists Marisa Mason-Smith, assistant general manager and human resources manager at the Bahamas Telecommunications Company; Fanchon Braynen, human resource manager and business partner at the Royal Bank of Canada; Keshelle Kerr from the Chamber of Commerce; Farrah Tynes, an executive at Lowes; Doneth Reid, an executive of Colina; and Arinthia Komolafe, managing director of the Bahamas Development Bank.
This event will include a registration package, refreshments, prizes, free make-overs and other features.
