Women's conference to share God's 'undeniable power'

Organisers are inviting members of the public to “experience God’s undeniable healing renewing and reviving power at “Women After The Heart of God” Conference 2013” at Evangelistic Temple, Fourth Terrace East and Collins Avenue. The event will take place on November 13-16 under the theme “Undenied”.

At the heart of the conference are four sessions designed to transform one’s life. Each session will focus on real people and real issues and the struggles they face today. The conference begins with three evening sessions and culminates with the annual Prayer Breakfast. The sessions are free, with the exception of the prayer breakfast, which is available for donation of $5.00. A limited number of special conference gift packets, which include a ticket to the prayer breakfast and a commemorative conference booklet, will be available on a first come, first serve basis for a fee.

The Women’s Ministries of Evangelistic Temple birthed ‘Women After The Heart Of God Conference’ in November 2002 under the theme, “Becoming a Vessel God Can Use”. The annual event has since grown from strength to strength, realizing the yearly coming together in fellowship of women from varying ethnic, social and economic backgrounds, with the aim of knowing Christ and making him known. Throughout the years, attendees have been “tremendously blessed and encouraged in their daily walk with the lord”.

Conference 2013 will be no different; there will be powerful ministry in song and word. Featured keynote speakers include Reverend Dr Vaughn L. Cash, Senior Pastor Of Evangelistic Temple, who will launch the conference into high gear on opening night. He will speak on the topic “Undenied.” This evening is labelled “Family Night” and the entire family is invited. A nursery with child care will be provided.

Elder Beverley Clarke takes up the reins in session two on Thursday night with her message “Undenied Faith.” She will be followed by Dr Linda Brown who will conclude the evening line up on Friday. Dr Brown will make her charge to the body of Christ on the topic “Undenied Healing.” At this final session Pastor Erika Moxey will minister on the topic “Undenied Power.”

“We firmly believe and trust the God who never changes remains faithful to his word to deliver every attendee who seeks his touch at this conference from every form of paralyzing fear, incurable disease, life-controlling habits and every ill known to man,” said Women’s Ministry President Dr Wendy Cash.

An open invitation is extended all women throughout the length and breadth of New Providence to attend the sessions.

“There comes a time when you have to determine in your mind that there has to be a change. It is the fervent prayer of the women’s ministries that women everywhere will make that conscious decision to take that bold step of faith and reach out to Jesus, the one who is the same yesterday, today and forever. God is moved by our faith, which unleashes his power. Like the certain woman with the issue of blood in this conference’s theme scripture, being badly in need of his healing virtues, she determined in her mind that in spite of her position and condition, she had to push through the crowd and reach out and touch, the hem of his garment, to be made whole. Now is your time to receive his touch.”
