FREEPORT – A Freeport man was convicted and sentenced to four years in prison for possession of dangerous drugs.
Pedro Leonardo Burrows, 31, of Coral Reef Estates, appeared in Court Eight in New Providence before Magistrate Andrew Forbes on Friday.
He pleaded guilty to possession of dangerous drugs with intent to supply.
On November 20, police in Grand Bahama executed a search warrant at a home at Coral Reef Estates, where 25 pounds of marijuana was discovered.
The seized drugs had an estimated street value of $25,000.
