THE ROYAL Bahamas Defence force yesterday arrest two persons in connection with the discovery of firearms at the Nassau Yacht Marina.
The incident happened around noon.
According to reports, a RBDF unit conducted a search of a 85 foot yacht named ‘Melinda’ and discovered 250 shot gun rounds, one shotgun and a 22 calibre rifle.
The two persons on board, a man and woman, were taken into custody and turned over to police and Customs for questioning.
The woman is said to be Colombian and the man German.
Investigations continue.
