RADIO 100 JAMZ and Joy 101.9 went off the air early Thursday morning after a series of power cuts affected the antenna and transmission systems. Engineers were working all day yesterday and late into the night to repair the antenna and restore transmission as quickly as possible.
Despite the interruption of radio broadcasting, 100JAMZ programming can still be heard through online streaming at its website, www.100jamz.com and on-air in Grand Bahama and Abaco.
The management and staff of the two stations apologise for any inconvenience this break in transmission might have caused their listeners. “We promise to be back as soon as possible — so keep your dials set, you’ll soon hear from us,” said a management spokesman.
