IN A surprising turn of events, members of Pilgrim Baptist Temple’s Board of trustees have voted to remove disgraced church pastor Randy Fraser as their leader, The Tribune understands.
In March, 133 members of Pilgrim moved to keep Fraser, who was convicted of unlawful sexual intercourse, as the senior pastor despite his imprisonment.
However, speaking to The Tribune yesterday, a member of the board of trustees told this newspaper that the Board felt that Fraser was unapologetic for his actions since committing the crime seven years ago.
Those sentiments led to the Board recently writing to Fraser outlining the terms under which the church would agree to have him reinstated as pastor upon his release from Her Majesty’s Prison.
According to the source, Fraser responded but not as the Board expected. The trustees later moved by a standing vote to have him removed.
He is currently serving a three year prison sentence.

It's about time that some sort of punishment was done to him because prison definitely isnt enough

He should be removed as soon as he was found guilty. What a strange bunch of church members...

More like him need to go. This sort if thing is happening so often and victims either risk being treated like liars or they remain silent. It needs to stop and girls and women need to speak up without fear.
