THE RESPONSE to Arawak Homes’ latest housing solution continues to exceed expectations, its president telling Tribune Business that the product has “truly resonated in the marketplace”.
Franon Wilson said there were only two vacant lots remaining in the 16-lot Premiere Estates subdivision off Faith Avenue, which officially launched in late June.
“That has continued to exceed expectations, so much so much so that we are in the final process of doing all our preliminary work to submit to Town Planning for the next subdivision. That product and concept has truly resonated in the market place,” said Mr Wilson.
The developer is offering properties in the Premier Estates subdivision at price points representing a 12-year low. In its latest line of home models, Arawak Homes is offering three bed/two bath residential homes with mortgage repayments starting at $227 per week.
“We have just started a home in there last week actually. We have two more vacant lots. There were 16 lots in total. The subdivision officially launched on June 29,” Mr Wilson said.
“The fact is, it’s simply amazing.”
Mr Wilson said proper land planning had allowed Arawak Homes to offer the new price point.
“People are very interested in the product. It’s amazing. There are a lot of people driving through the subdivision, looking around, and checking out the homes. It shows that there is a strong demand out there for affordable housing,” he added.
