OCTOBER’S Little Pink Party was deemed a great success by those who attended the shopping party and fundraiser over the weekend.
The latest instalment of the event series, the brainchild of KhanAali Media Group founders Krista Nairn and Kandice Hanna, was held in Atlantis’ Crown Ballroom on Saturday.
It was launched in 2008 out of a desire to host fashion-forward parties for local Bahamian women living in Nassau.
Inspired by a number of regional women-only events they had attended, as well as their unyielding love for American consumerism, the two creators designed the Little Pink Party series to encompass and sensationalise every element of a fabulous shopping experience.
The aim was to provide stylish, smart, trendsetting, and on-the-go women with a unique opportunity to learn and experience products presented directly to them by a variety of craftsmen, retailers, and brand representatives.
For these product and service providers, it provides a platform to interact with and sell to an engaged targeted audience intent on learning about and buying the latest products and trends.
The event is also a fundraiser in support of the fight against breast cancer.
