THIS year’s poster for the Bahamas International Film Festival has been unveiled.
It’s the tenth annual festival, and runs from December 5 to 13.
Films are due to be announced at the end of October, but the poster has already been revealed. It was designed by Theo McClain, Chief Executive Officer, IDYA Studio in Nassau.
Theo said: “The concept of this year’s Bahamas International Film Festival (BIFF) poster is a formal inquiry into the ephemeral visual engagement that surrounds us.
“Like film, visual perception operates on many planes. I was able to capture a moment in conjunction of what is in focus and thus resulting in a cinematic image.
“The central focus is to immerse the viewer graphically with simplicity and sophistication which represents BIFF’s 10th year celebrations.
“BIFF has truly been a life changing experience and has also inspired me to explore the medium of film. I’m honoured to design yet another poster for BIFF.”
