JUSTIN Roberts has won his first G4 singles title by defeating 17-year-old Youssef Hassan of Great Britain 7-5, 6-2 at the International Tennis Federation’s G4 Autumn Almere 2013 in the Netherlands.
The 16-year-old also teamed up with 17-year-old Andrew Watson of Great Britain to win the doubles title over the unseeded team of Luka Sucevic and Dusan Vukiecevic, both of Serbia. Roberts and Watson were the No.2 seeds.
On Thursday, the No.7 seed won the semifinal against No.2 seed Adam Glynn of Great Britain after taking his quarterfinal match in a 6-2, 6-1 upset over No.3 seed Simone Roncalli of Italy.
In the first round, Roberts got a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Constant De La Bassetiere of France and he ousted German Luis Erlenbusch 6-4, 6-1 in the second round.
