Atlantis has partnered with the Bahamian Brewery and Beverage Company to make Sands Beer’s exclusive “Atlantis Ale” brand, which will be served in all 42 of the resort’s food and beverage outlets.
Bahamian Brewery and Beverage Company executives hosted several of Atlantis’ food and beverage managers to a tour of the company’s Freeport brewery facility yesterday. Among them were managers from Todd English’s Olive’s restaurant, the most recent restaurant to feature the Sands beer offering.
Timothy Moriarty, Atlantis’ vice-president of food and beverage, told Tribune Business: “We want to promote local businesses at Atlantis and we’re proud to work with the Sands beer team. We partnered with them and came up with Atlantis Ale. It’s incredibly good and it’s only available at Atlantis. We serve it in Virgil’s, Olive’s, The Moon Club, and the new sports book which will be opening soon. We are going to be expanding that to the rest of our outlets. We have 42 outlets for food and beverage in the hotel.”
Mr Moriarty went on to explain: “When we were opening Virgil’s, which is a barbecue restaurant, with a barbecue and beer concept, we looked at options of bringing beer in from New York. We couldn’t do it because the cost was too high. We reached out to Sands and the Kalik company and asked if they could put a beer together for us. Kalik wasn’t interested but Sands stepped up to the challenge. We wanted to make an Atlantis Ale, one beer exclusive to Atlantis.”
Lynden Johnson, sales and marketing manager for Bahamian Brewery and Beverage Company said: “The Sands beer is in the restaurant and we are happy to actually announce that all of the Bahamian Brewery’s products are the only beers on tap at the Olive’s restaurant. We did it two years ago with Virgil’s at Atlantis. We are very excited about this. We are happy that Atlantis had confidence in Bahamian Brewery.”

The downside is with Commonwealth Brewery and the Burns House link, then jumping to the Finlayson group and the PLP connection, they are going to out of their way to do their level best to destroy a 100% owned and operated Bahamian Brewery...in favour of Commonwealth that is 75% owned by the Heineken group (ie...NON-Bahamian). It's already started.

Sands Beers should be saluted as the leader amongst all Bahamaland forward thinking and marketing proactive organizations. I forget now. How many millions was it that did Hubert's regime pumped into that foreigner controlled boos corporation? And where did he get the millions from? Go ask the new red shirts "leader" Loretta?
