The Nassau City Opera singers, in conjunction with the Nassau Chamber Ensemble and musicians from The Bahamas National Symphony Orchestra will perform the Easter portion of Handel’s Messiah for musical reflection on the Passion, Death and Resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 13 at Christ Church Cathedral.
The Palm Sunday evening’s performance is dedicated to the honour and glory of God and to assist in defraying Christ Church Cathedral’s cost of the newly acquired, Cathedral House.
Then Came Morning:
A dramatic musical
For four days this Easter, The South Bahamas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists will present Then Came the Morning, a dramatic musical set in the shadow of Golgotha in the hours following the execution of Jesus Christ.
Combining narrative monologues, vocals, live music, video and choreography, the production delivers a multisensory display of the extraordinary events of Good Friday by presenting the story of Christ’s passion and crucifixion through the eyes of those who knew and loved Him best.
Then Came the Morning will debut at the Dundas Centre for the Performing Arts from April 16-18 and 20 at 7.00 pm.

St James ACM Gives Back
Proceeds from one of the biggest fundraisers for the St James Anglican Church were recently donated to assist the church environment in the Adelaide community and other outreach activities.
The fundraised, The Father Anthony Roberts Grill Fest, was held in October and parishes throughout New Providence gathered to enjoy a day of family fun and grill competition between the various ACM branches. The branches that participated included the two-time defending champions for the grill competition St Georges who were dethroned by St Agnes Church.
The event is held annually and promotes unity and friendship in the community.
