SANDALS Royal Bahamian donated six large bags of linen to Unity House last Thursday, as it continues its efforts to help those in need within the community.
Representatives from Unity House, which houses the elderly, said they were extremely grateful for the linen as they are always in need of in-kind donations.
Following the resort’s children’s Easter party, workers took the remaining food to Unity House to share with its residents. Sandals Royal Bahamian’s laundry manager Porsha Poitier, who made the delivery, said the workers and residents were pleasantly surprised by the impromptu visit.
“We have to help out,” said Ms Poitier. “I like to give back whenever I can.”
The resort recently made a large donation of linen and doors to the Bain and Grants Town Advancement Association.
