COORS SUMMER LEAGUE CHALLENGE

THE Coors Six Weeks Summer League Challenge will conclude tonight at Mario’s Bowling Palace. Five teams are vying for a first place prize of $1, 000 plus trophies and $500 plus trophies for second place.

Shannon Thompson and Samuel Bain continue to perform outstandingly in the league thereby allowing the Ten Pin Rollers to hold first place by 196 pins over the Red Raiders.

In their last outing, Thompson struck for a gigantic 37 pins over average followed by Bain with an outstanding 20 pins over average performance. ?

Brad Smith of the Red Raiders, however, was the runner-up MVP of the week after toppling the pins for an excellent 23 pins over average.?

Other team standings after 5 weeks are: ?

3rd place - Warhawks - 243 pins behind.

4th place - E&U Water Coolers - 309 pins behind.

5th place - Mario’s Bowling Palace - 368 pins behind.

BBF’S MONTHLY TOURNEY?

THE Bahamas Bowling Federation’s monthly tournament is scheduled for 12:30pm Saturday at Mario’s Bowling and Family Entertainment Centre.

Brad ‘Speed’ Fowler was the bowler of the tournament after he took home a ‘truck load’ of money in terms of the payout for July. Fowler won one of the games as well as the overall set.

Jarien ‘Lucky’ Winters has not been lucky as of late and is looking to get back in the winner’s circle.
