ABACO Police discovered $25,000 worth of cocaine in Dundas Town, but the suspects managed to escape on foot.
Inspector Terecita Pinder said officers were on patrol on Tuesday when they observed a group of men near a building acting in a suspicious manner. When officers stopped, the men fled the area.
While searching the surrounding area, officers discovered a plastic bag containing a white powdery substance suspected to be cocaine. Inspector Pinder said the drugs weighed 2.6 pounds and have an estimated street value of $25,000. No arrests were made.
