POLICE are investigating Thursday’s plane crash at Lynden Pindling International Airport in which no one was injured.
According to reports a pilot and four passengers left Venezuela at 1pm. Their aircraft, a Learjet, began experiencing hydraulic problems about 300 miles north of Acklins, prompting the pilot to make a decision to head to Nassau. An emergency mode was activated at the airport in order to accommodate the aircraft which eventually skidded off the runway upon impact.
The plane had minor damage.
