United Churches of God in Christ celebrated their first leadership conference under the theme “Preparing Kingdom Leaders For The Front Line” this month.
This event took place at the Lion of Judah Kingdom Embassy with host Bishop G Elton Major, jurisdictional prelate.
Church members described the occasion as awe-inspiring. The successful five-day event with an appointment service for various minsters of the gospels. Saints of God were taught to live a happy, prosperous, faith-filled lives by special guest speaker Bishop Femi Soneye, senior pastor at the Miracle Breed Assembly in Nigeria.
Bishop Soneye told attendees at the conference that they are “wired to succeed”. He also shared tidbits on how people can “discover their Aaron”, or their area of strength.
As each conference night progressed there were teachings on victory in the gifts of God, faith being one’s life, and on how God has provided for all the needs of his people.
He also encouraged people “not to wait until you are perfect to start having confidence”.
The event featured speakers including overseer Janean Hart, UCOGIC Apostle Larrick Kemp, Pastor Kimmerie King, Apostle Shantell Young and many other ministers of the gospel.
