8pm: Tropical Storm Cristobal appears to be moving away form the Bahamas. A tropical storm warning remains in effect for the central Bahamas, including Cat Island, the Exumas, Long Island, Rum Cay and San Salvador.
12pm: A tropical storm warning for Tropical Storm Cristobal is in effect for the southeastern Bahamas including Acklins, Crooked Island, Long Cay, the Inaguas, Mayaguana and Ragged Island as well as the Turks and Caicos, and the central Bahamas, including Cat Island, the Exumas, Long Island, Rum Cay and San Salvador.
A tropical storm watch could be required for the northwestern Bahamas later today.
The centre of Cristobal is expected to move near or over portions of the central Bahamas through Monday.
There are maximum sustained winds of 45mph and the storm is set produce four to eight inches of rain - possibly 12 inches in isolated amounts.

Mayaguana has already reported major floodings. rain for 17hrs. Nassau will be under water if that was to pass through like its is in Myg which is still raining.
