Soul Winning UCOGIC celebrated it’s second annual prayer band anniversary under the theme “Unveiling in the presence of God”.
Under the leadership of Pastor Dawn Porter and Overseer Janean Hart, host pastor, the event saw two nights of service that started on August 18 and was filled with visiting pastors and ministers learning to unveil in the presence of God. The theme was taken from 1 Samuel chapter 1 vs1-19.
Pastor Porter, prayer band leader, started off the first night by informing the congregation that, “Their story will end in glory”. The congregation was taught to press on for God, because the enemy has a plan to stop them. Then on Tuesday night the conference was closed by special guest speaker Minister Sherine Miller, clad in black robe and mask, who preached a fiery sermon to the crowd. Informing ministers that it is OK to get vexed in spirit and kick the devil out of your life, she said told that like Hanna they need the God Almighty as their problem solver.
Visiting churches included Prevailing, Be Healed, and the Lord’s House of Refuge, as well as other ministries. The event ended with ministers erupting in shouts, clapping and leaving spiritually fulfilled.
