CONCERT-GOERS are in a for an entertaining night as Fantastic Four Promotions is set to present two of the best reggae and dancehall performers on one stage for one night only.
Grammy-award winning reggae star Beenie Man will headline the Redemption 2 concert along with Mr Vegas, one of the hottest acts on the scene right now.
Both performers are expected to present a highly energised show. The concert will be held at Luna Nightclub this Saturday and will also feature a number of Bahamian acts. Doors open at 9pm and show time is at 11pm sharp.
According to Gregory Major of Fantastic Four Promotions, both Beenie Man and Mr Vegas will put on a world-class show as they perform their hottest hits
“People can expect a full night of entertainment. Of course Beenie Man will be headlining the event and he is probably the number one reggae entertainer in reggae music today. In terms of production, the event will be nothing like people have seen,” he told In Ya Ear.
“Both artists have a large catalogue of music that they will be performing. They will both perform for an hour each.”
Fantastic Four is the promotion team behind the Redemption 1 concert that brought American rapper Future to the Bahamas last year. The show this weekend is a follow-up to that event.
“The feedback has been great. A lot of people have been calling and showing a great interest in seeing the show,” Mr Major said.
“The good thing about all of it is that when people purchase their tickets they can actually see a layout of the venue and choose where they want to sit. The concert will be an exciting night because not only will Beenie Man and Mr Vegas be performing, but there are a number of surprises.”
Mr Major said Beenie Man is excited to come back to the Bahamas to perform, since he has not been here for several years.
“Beenie Man will especially take this to the next level, because there are a host of musicians that he has done songs with and they may end up on stage with him at the end of the night. He wants to a lot of his classics, so it will be a classic Beenie Man show. Attendees will just have to wait and see,” he told In Ya Ear.
Both artists have been touring in different parts of the Caribbean and have been releasing new music for their fans.
“This is the second instalment of Redemption concert and we are continuing to do bigger and better things. We have a lot of things in store for next year,” Mr Major said.
