Cable Bahamas opened its new flagship Mall at Marathon on Saturday, which at 5,000 square feet is more than triple the size of its previous location.
The BISX-listed company is calling the new location the ‘REV Customer Experience Centre’, which is designed to expand its range of services, and boost customer service.
“This is a new day in the life of Cable Bahamas,” said David Burrows, the company’s head of marketing. “The REV Customer Experience Centre provides our customers with new and exciting ways for our customers to know who we are and what we do.
“This is also another tangible display of the evolution of our company as the premiere provider of entertainment, and communications services.”
The launch event featured a live performance by Bahamian singer Angelique Sabrina, who was accompanied by nearly 100 dancers. The Royal Bahamas Police Force pop band also brought a selection of traditional Bahamian songs and Christmas favourites.
Cable Bahamas’ flagship store opens for business today, with operating hours from 8am to 8pm on weekdays, and 8am to 5pm on Saturdays.
The store is the first time that the company’s REV brand, and its core product categories - REVTV digital television, REVOICE home and business phone service, and REVON broadband Internet can be experienced in one unified space.
The retail store and customer support centre also feature a 15-foot video wall used to display additional details and information about the company and its range of services.
