In other police reports, five men were taken into police custody in Grand Bahama after they were allegedly caught stealing property from the old Freeport Inn Resort.
Sometime around 10am on February 16, police received information of suspicious activity taking place at the resort property on Explorer’s Way.
When officers arrived, they saw a red Dodge Caravan Truck at the property. At the rear of the truck were some decorative blocks, which were the property of the resort.
The occupants of the vehicle were arrested. Officers then went to the residence of the suspects on Ponce De Leon Drive, where they recovered an additional 72 blocks.
