POLICE are actively investigating the drowning of an 87-year-old tourist during his visit to San Salvador.
According to reports the elderly man, a resident of South Carolina, was snorkeling with a female friend yesterday near the Club Med Resort when the incident occurred at around 11:30am.
Police said the victim was pronounced dead by the island’s doctor a short time later. They did not release his identity.
Meanwhile, police are seeking the public’s help in finding 24-year-old Raven Cooper of Guinep Tree Street, Pinewood Gardens.
Authorities said he is wanted for questioning in connection to attempted murder.
