THE Paradise Children’s Foundation once again welcomed former NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal to the Bahamas over the New Year.
He was in town to promote PCF’s 2nd annual “Pandora’s Box-Part Deux” gala casino fundraiser.
The star-studded spectacle will be held on Saturday, February 1, in the Atlantis Imperial Ballroom.
Among the prizes are a $25,000 shopping spree from Carlo Milano, and a $25,000 shopping spree from Diamonds International.
A brand new 2013 Mercedes-Benz will be raffled off and more than $500,000 in prizes, as well as silent and live auction items, will be up for grabs.
Tickets are $500 a person or $4,500 for a table of 10 which includes: gourmet food, open bar, $1,000 in fantasy gaming chips, and entertainment by Acrobazia, a two man former Cirque Du Soleil duo; musical group the Hot Sardines and magician Jamy Ian Swiss.
A limited number of VIP tables are also available. Last years event was the biggest fundraiser ever held in the Bahamas. All of the profits from the event will benefit a variety of children’s charities and non-profits in the country.
