The Caribbean Export Development Agency (Caribbean Export) will host a Grant Proposal Writing Workshop on January 23 at the British Colonial Hilton.
The workshop, set to last from 9am to 4 pm, is designed to increase the Bahamian private sector’s awareness of the Direct Assistance Grant Scheme (DAGS).
It will also provide assistance to Business Support Organisations (BSOs) as they facilitate the application process across the various industries. There will also be an opportunity for one-on-one consultations with small and medium-sized enterprises interested in accessing the Direct Assistance Grant facility.
The workshop is being held in collaboration with the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Employers Confederation (BCCEC)
The Direct Assistance Grant Scheme is a reimbursement grant funding facility designed to provide financial assistance to legally registered firms, individuals and Business Support Organisations that have the potential to export their products and services.
The scheme is executed as a part of the Regional Private Sector Development Programme (RPSDP), funded by the European Union (EU) under the 10th European Development Fund (EDF).
