Money provider reveals payday lending product

A Bahamian money solutions provider has launched its “alternative” pay day loan, aiming to offer customers small credit sums at low cost.

Omni~Mango’s FlashCA$H product is designed to provide loans, ranging from $250 to $1,500.

“FlashCA$H is a competitive alternative for our customers who need small loans, at a low cost and with great ease,” said Mango’s chief executive, Barry Malcolm.

“Our payday advance product offers the lowest interest rates in the market by far, as a way to help customers affordably meet their short-term cash needs.

“For customers with an immediate need for cash, we have put in place the best system to process applications in the most timely and efficient manner possible.”

FlashCA$H is currently being offered to public sector workers, with salary deduction and repayment terms lasting up to six months.

The product will soon be extended to private sector employees, with reaction to FlashCA$H’s soft launch indicating strong demand for micro-loans in the Bahamian market.

To apply for such credit, customers can now visit the Omni Money Transfer on Frederick Street and at Marathon Mall with the required documents - Valid ID, National Insurance Card, Job Letter, Pay Slip and Proof of Address.

Applications can also be submitted through other Omni Agents in New Providence - the Q-Centre, Door-2-Door or online at www.getamango.com. FlashCA$H will be offered shortly in the Family Islands as Omni~Mango expands to the entire Bahamas.

“We have a full suite of complementary products and services being readied for market,” said Mr Malcolm. “As with FlashCA$H, they are all designed to provide to our customers easy and innovative means to handle finances and payments.”
