RECENTLY, a few of the many deadbeats who owe money to the government were revealed. These freeloaders apparently felt entitled to lovingly stockpile their money for many years.
However, once exposed, the lawbreakers promptly decided to part with some of their hoard and pay what they owed – without any significant penalty, of course.
One wonders if any of this paid up money then made it possible for our fiscally strapped government to “step in” and help save the financially challenged Ranfurly Home for children.
